Who we are

Mendvx (“we”) provides the Mendvx iOS app. For questions about this policy, use the contact details on the Terms & Support page.

Data we store on your device

Most of your workshop data stays on the iPhone. That includes:

• Projects, repair steps, notes, time, and cost
• Before / after photos, step photos, and cropped images you choose
• Optional voice notes on steps (microphone, only if you record)
• Material tags, on-hand stock, usage, and need-to-buy flags
• Display name, Plaza favorites / blocks, and coin balance

Clear All Data in Me removes local projects, tags, favorites, blocks, and posts on this device and reseeds sample content like a first install.

Permissions

• Camera — take before, after, or step photos when you choose Take Photo.
• Photo Library — import photos you pick, and optionally save export cards if you allow.
• Microphone — record a voice note on a repair step.
• Notifications — optional reminder to continue a repair.

We do not use the camera, microphone, or library in the background. We do not request tracking (App Tracking Transparency) and we do not sell personal data.

Plaza (community)

If you publish a compare snapshot, the post (title, caption, tags, and photos) is stored so others can browse it. Publishing requires agreeing to community guidelines. You can delete your own posts from the snapshot page. Blocking an author hides their posts on your device.

Purchases

Coin packs are consumable In-App Purchases processed by Apple. Apple handles payment. We keep a local coin balance and purchase settlement ids on device so a pack is not credited twice. We do not store your Apple ID or card details.

Children

Mendvx is not directed at children under 13. Do not use Plaza to post content involving minors.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top will change. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
